It's time to focus on GOD!
We live in a time filled with distractions and worries. The world constantly demands our attention through social media, work, or daily worries. But as children of God, we must remember that our highest priority is to seek first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness (Matthew 6:33).
Focusing on God is not just a call to occasional prayer, but a lifestyle. It means setting aside intentional time to read His Word, meditate on His truth, and allow Him to transform our hearts and minds. “You will keep in perfect peace him whose mind is steadfast because he trusts in You” (Isaiah 26:3). When we turn our attention to God, He promises to give us peace, even in the amid storm.
Additionally, we must remember that time is short and Christ is coming soon (Revelation 22:12). The world passes away, but those who do God’s will remain forever (1 John 2:17). So, it's time to put aside temporal concerns and focus on the eternal. It's time to stop seeking satisfaction in what the world offers and find our satisfaction in the One who created us.
Focusing on God also means surrendering our lives to His will, trusting that His plan is perfect, and living for His glory. As Colossians 3:2 exhorts us, we must "set our minds on things above, not on things on the earth." God desires to be the center of your life. He is willing to guide you, strengthen you, and give you purpose, but He requires that you take your eyes off the temporal and put them on the eternal.
So, it's time to focus on God, because only in Him do we find true peace, purpose, and hope. Don't wait any longer! M
Make HIM your priority today!
Here are four key areas we need to focus on to grow spiritually and honor God with our lives:
WANTING TO KNOW TO JESUS?
Here is the Gospel of Salvation explained.
The Gospel of Salvation is the Good News that God, in His Love and Mercy, provided a way for sinners to be reconciled to Him. The Bible teaches that we have all sinned and are separated from God (Romans 3:23) and that the wages of sin is eternal death (Romans 6:23). However, God sent His Son, Jesus Christ, who lived a perfect life, died on the cross in our place, and rose again on the third day, conquering sin and death (1 Corinthians 15:3-4).
Salvation is not obtained by works but by faith in Jesus Christ. Those who repent of their sins and trust in Him as their Lord and Savior receive forgiveness and eternal life (Ephesians 2:8-9; Romans 10:9). This is God's gift to all who believe.
"For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have everlasting life." (John 3:16)
How is your relationship with God today? Let's pray.
Simple Prayer for Salvation and Reconciliation through Jesus Christ.
Heavenly Father,
I come before You with a humble heart, recognizing that I have sinned and lived far from Your will. I need Your mercy and grace.
Lord Jesus, I believe that You died on the cross for my sins and rose again to give me eternal life. Today, I repent and surrender my life to You. Forgive me, cleanse me, and make me new.
I reconcile with You, Lord. Restore my heart, renew my spirit, and lead me in Your truth. From now on, I want to live for You.
Thank You for Your love and salvation. I declare that I am Yours, and You are my Lord and Savior. In Jesus' name, Amen.
